FAQs

How long does a spray tan last?

Spray tans typically last between 5-7 days, depending on how well you take care of your skin and how quickly your skin naturally exfoliates. To make your spray tan last longer, it's important to moisturize regularly and avoid activities that can cause excessive sweating or friction on the skin, such as swimming or vigorous exercise.

What is the difference between a spray tan and a traditional tan?

A spray tan is a quick and easy way to achieve a golden, sun-kissed look without the harmful UV rays associated with traditional tanning methods. Spray tans are applied using a fine mist and can be customized to your desired level of darkness. Traditional tans, on the other hand, are achieved through sun exposure or tanning beds, which can lead to skin damage and an increased risk of skin cancer.

How do I prepare for a spray tan?

To prepare for a spray tan, it is important to shave, exfoliate, and moisturize your skin 8-12 hours prior to your appointment, then showering immediately prior to appointment. This will help to remove any dead skin cells and create a smooth surface for the tanning solution to adhere to. ABSOLUTELY NO DOVE BRAND OR MINERAL OIL BASED PRODUCTS. It is also important to wear loose, dark clothing to your appointment and during developmental stages and DO NOT WEAR PRODUCT TO YOUR APPOINTMENT (lotions, oils or deodorant) as these can act as a barrier and affect the evenness of the tan. It is important during the developmental stage to avoid contact with water and activities with the potential to sweat!
